BakeCalc Pro ("we," "our," or "the site") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

Calculator Data

All calculator inputs and computations are performed entirely in your browser using JavaScript. No calculator input data is transmitted to our servers. We do not store, log, or process any recipe, ingredient, or measurement data you enter into our calculators.

Information We Collect

Automatically Collected

When you visit BakeCalc Pro, our web hosting provider may automatically log standard server-access information including:

• IP address (anonymized or truncated where possible)
• Browser type and version
• Pages visited and time on page
• Referring URL
• Device type (desktop/mobile)

This data is used solely for site performance monitoring and aggregate analytics. It is not linked to individual identities.

Analytics

We may use a privacy-respecting analytics service to understand aggregate usage patterns — for example, which calculators are most used. If we use analytics, we enable IP anonymization and do not use remarketing features.

Contact Form

If you use the Contact form, we receive the information you submit (name, email, message). We use this solely to respond to your inquiry. We do not add you to mailing lists or share your contact information.

Cookies

BakeCalc Pro does not use tracking cookies or advertising cookies. Session cookies may be set by the browser for standard functionality. You may block all cookies in your browser settings without affecting calculator functionality.

Third-Party Services

BakeCalc Pro loads the following third-party resources:

• Google Fonts — for typography (Plus Jakarta Sans, Inter, JetBrains Mono). Google's font service may log your IP address per Google's Privacy Policy.
• Hosting provider — standard server infrastructure logs apply.

We do not use advertising networks, affiliate tracking scripts, or social media tracking pixels.

Data Retention

Server access logs are retained for up to 90 days for security and performance purposes, then deleted. Contact form submissions are retained only as long as needed to address your inquiry.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you. Since we collect minimal personally identifiable information, most requests can be addressed by contacting us at the address on the Contact page.

Children's Privacy

BakeCalc Pro is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
